Seamless WooCommerce Order Management with Make.com Integration

Challenge:
A client was struggling with disparate systems while managing orders placed on their WooCommerce e-commerce website. Tracking bookings and order details required constant logins to WordPress and WooCommerce, making the process inefficient.

Solution:
I implemented a Make.com automation that seamlessly syncs all orders at checkout to Google Sheets, transforming it into a CRM for easy order management. Simultaneously, order booking details are pushed to Google Calendar, containing all tour information for real-time scheduling.

Challenges Overcome:
The client’s WooCommerce store utilized custom checkout fields, generating extensive metadata. I configured Make.com to accurately extract, process, and format this data, ensuring precise synchronization with Google Sheets and Google Calendar.

Results:

The client can now view all order details on their phone via the Google Calendar app, eliminating the need to log into WordPress/WooCommerce. Sales and order history are easily accessible in Google Sheets, streamlining operations and improving efficiency. A fully automated system reduces manual entry and errors, allowing the client to focus on business growth.
