Multi-Account Lead Matching in Salesforce
Challenge:
A multinational client needed leads to be linked to multiple existing country Accounts in Salesforce due to complex sales territory management. However, Salesforce only allows a single account linkage by default, making lead routing inefficient.
Solution:
Using Make.com, I automated a lookup process that matched leads to existing Accounts based on both email domain and company name. A custom field was created to store and display multiple account links directly on the Lead object, ensuring accurate assignments.
Results:
✅ Leads are now correctly matched to all relevant country Accounts.
✅ Sales teams receive higher-quality leads that are pre-qualified to existing Accounts, improving engagement.
✅ Lead routing efficiency increased, boosting lead performance and customer satisfaction.
